Abundance and Prosperity

After the movie "The Secret" came out there has been a lot more discussion on the topic of Law of Attraction, manifestation and abundant living. Many authors, teachers, coaches, healers, clergy and spiritualists share their thoughts on what this all means and the best way to get there. My view is that we are all part of the same infinite universe and that the most powerful energy is love.

Whether you are into Think and grow rich, chakras & crystals, Kabala, guided meditations, law of attraction, the secret or you just want to have more - it always starts with the idea of abundance. Abundance and prosperity sayings can have a duel effect on me, depending on what kind of day I am having.

On a good day my energy level and vibration rises with just a little nudge. A beautiful cloud, bird or smile can take my breath away. I literally ooze abundance and I am convinced that prosperity is mine for the asking. On these days abundance and inspiring words flood my brain and spill out onto the paper like a fire hose.

However, there are other days, usually when the computer starts to act up, that I am a virtual cloud of pain and just a glance from me keeps saner people at arms length. On those days, I must admit I want to rip these paintings into little bits and paint things like so what?! and F*ck off. (hence the anti-motivational section and things your parents said) Still I hope that you will choose the ones that make your heart sing and resist the urge to chew on them if you have moments of doubt. One thing I never question is that love really is abundant and that it often is the only definition of true prosperity.
