Refrigerator Magnets have come a long way baby! Refrigerator magnets date back to the early 1930's but did not hit their peak until the 1050's. The golden age of kitsch. It used to be that you could get brightly colored letters or plastic veggies and the occasional outline of a state map.

Now there are entire cottage industries creating every kind of refrigerator magnets you can imagine (and some you can't) What can I say, we just couldn't wait to throw our hat into the ring. Browse the site and enjoy.

This whole things started many years ago when I started painting words on index cards, and then giving them to friends. Then I got a laminator for my birthday and it was all over. I just wrote up whatever came to my mind and painted and painted, often I would hide them at my friends houses in their drawers or in my guest's suitcases for them to find later.

It gave me such pleasure to share them and to know they were safely encased in 10 mil plastic. After much urging by friends and family I decided to make the series available for everyone.
